RETREATS!

Episode 28: Color Psychology and YOUR Kitchen with Kadija Taylor

When you walk into Mamacita’s (my mother’s) kitchen, you feel a sense of familiarity. Her Southwestern theme, filled with bright yellows and fiery reds, invites her friends and family to feel at home and ready to eat!

Turns out, these extraordinary feelings are closely tied to color psychology. I am so thrilled to introduce you to Kadija Taylor, Interior Designer and Realtor, who explains this phenomenon.

Do you want to learn about which feelings your current kitchen evokes? Then listen to this episode!

Kadija Taylor is a native of Denver, Colorado. After graduating from the University of Colorado at Denver, she began a career in property management, where she spent over eleven years in affordable housing serving many disadvantaged and marginalized populations in the city.

During this tenure, she served on various project committees for rehabs, renovations, and new builds. She fell in love with design and knew it was time to make a change.

In 2016, she decided to spread her wings and venture into the world of real estate and home design, which ultimately led her to open Home and Sanctuary.

You are in for a treat! Listen to this episode and plan to be inspired. Also, let us know which changes you make in your kitchen!
